Giving Back: A Sustainable Approach
Giving Back’ reinforces what the SGD is majoring on and underlines its commitment to encourage biodiversity, lower the carbon footprint in the gardens it designs and creates by the use of upcycled and recycled materials. An awareness of conserving water together with the practicalities of runoff is increasingly important, while the inclusion of species that not only benefit the garden in which they are set, but also link into the wider landscape or urban setting enables a chain of rich and diverse habitats.

An internationally recognised garden designer, Andrew Duff MSGD has been designing gardens for over 30 years. In addition to running his practice, he is managing director of the world renowned Inchbald School of Design and is Chair of the Society of Garden Designers. sgd.org.uk
