What is HAVS?
Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) is the main concern posed by exposure to vibration. Commonly manifesting as vibration white finger or carpal tunnel syndrome, HAVS is caused by the transfer of vibration through a workers hands and arms, in as little as 6 months. Nerve damage and restricted blood flow to the hand and fingers can occur, this causes the debilitating symptoms and effects known as Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome.

The HAVSense System
HAVSco Ltd developed the first personal Hand Arm Vibration dosimeter, which measures and records the actual vibration exposure, at the point where the vibrations enter the hand. Worn under the glove on either hand, the HAVSense dosimeters provide accurate vibration exposure data from any source of vibration, no reliance on inconsistent manufacture’s data, or theoretical data from external sources.
Irrespective of which tools are used, how they are used or what they are used for, The HAVSense dosimeter measures a person’s exposure to vibrations, with no programming or re-programming when changing between tools, processes or tasks. Record continuous activities for up to 12 hours. No guesswork, calculations or time recording, just simple HAV exposure data.
With no requirement for continual monitoring, a limited number of dosimeters will often cover an organisations requirement. The HAVSense system comes with licence free software which allows unlimited users to use the system, the includes software updates too, all with no yearly fee.
